Nursey[sic] Owner Kaiser Dies
George W. Kaiser, 84, a lifelong Marion resident, passed away at his home 262 Sixth Ave., Tuesday afternoon. He was born the son of John L. and Louise Streich Kaiser Dec. 8, 1876 at Marion. On Feb. 14, 1917, he was married to Lettesia Crowley in Cedar Rapids. Mr. Kaiser was a horticulturist and owner of the Wayside Nursery. He retired in 1958. Mr. Kaiser was a member of the Goodfellows club.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a sister, Mrs. Rose Speakman, of Bakersfield, Calif.
Services: 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, at the Murdoch Chapel in Marion. Conducted by: Rev. Jean P. Hauter. Interment: Oak Shade Cemetery.
