The death of Albert Goetsch, retired farmer, occurred at 8:15 o'clock this morning at the home of his nephew, Walter Maahs, in the town of Maine where he had made his home for the past year. The funeral is to be held Monday. The Rev. Walter Piehler will conduct services at the home at 1:30 o'clock and later at Zion Lutheran church in that town. Internment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in the Town of Maine. The body will be at the Helke funeral home until late tomorrow.

Mr. Goetsch was born March 21, 1849 in Germany and came to Cedarburg with his parents in 1857. From there he moved to the town of Maine in 1862. He was married to Fredericka Laatsch in Wausau in 1869 and they moved to Wausau in 1890. Mrs. Goetsch died twelve years ago.

Nine children survive, Mrs. William Krueger, Mrs. Ernest Koch and Mrs. August Utecht of Wausau, Mrs. Carl Maahs and Robert Goetsch of the town of Maine, Carl Goetsch of the town of Rib Mountain, Mrs. Rudolph Klueckman of Fall Creek, the Rev. Martin Goetsch of Green Grove and Julius Goetsch of Milwaukee; also thirty-three grandchildren and twenty-eight great grandchildren.
