PASCHALL-Mary Katharine Price Bull Paschall, 90, died March 17, of natural causes in Montecito, California, where she lived since 1995. Kay was born in Billings, Montana, where her parents, Eben and Eliza Price, were cattle ranchers. As a young girl, she moved with her parents to Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she attended The Northrup School for Girls and met the man who was to be her first husband, Webster M. Bull. After Kay gradu ated from the Finch School in New York, they were married in 1936 and moved to Omaha, Nebraska, where he was a district sales manager for General Foods, and where they had a son, Daniel F. Bull. Following the death of Webster Bull, a bomber pilot in World War II, Kay relocated to Pasadena, California, where she married Nathaniel Paschall, an executive with the Douglas Aircraft Company. She gave birth to two more sons, Nathaniel Price Paschall and Boeing C. Paschall. Kay was active in civic affairs including The Pasadena Humane Society Board of Directors, the Pasadena Public Library Foundation Board, the Pasadena Symphony Association Board, a Founder of the Music Center, a Caltech Associate and Gold Circle member, and a member of the Blue Ribbon 400. In addition, Kay was invaluable in assisting her husband, Nat Paschall, in his worldwide aviation sales efforts for the Douglas Aircraft Company. Kay was a woman of many interests, among which the game of golf was a great passion. Kay is survived by her three sons , her grandchildren, Katharine Bull Otto, Eben Bull, Sarah Bull, John Paschall, and Skye Ellis and five great-grandchildren. A memorial service was held at the Montecito Covenant Church on March 21.
