Will Patrick was born in Sydney, Hastings, Ontario, Canada, a son of Gilbert Lea Patrick Jr and his second wife, Sarah Ann Westfall.
By 1910, he was living at Limekiln Lake in Inlet, NY, employed by Wellington Kenwell. He stated at that time that both of his parents had been born in the USA. In September of that same year, he married Lizzie Thibodeau (the youngest child of Napoléon Thibodeau and his wife Marie-Onèsime 'Elizabeth' Savarie Thibodeau).
There were three children born to their marriage. Their first child, a daughter, died at birth in November of 1910 (birth and death recorded in the records of Dr. Stuart Nelson, of Old Forge, NY). They also had two sons: Bernard Louis in 1913 and Arthur Harold in 1917.
Bernard never married and died at the age of 51 from heart related injuries sustained years earlier in an automobile accident.
Arthur married, in 1939, Mary Louise Callahan, who was born at Raquette Lake and had spent most of her life in Hamilton County. They had five children.
Will Patrick died in 1955; Lizzie died in 1964.
