A patient in the Carlin Park Nursing home, Angola...age 87; Funeral services were conducted in Klink memorial Chapel, Dr. J. Glenn Radcliffe, pastor of the Pleasant View Church of Christ, officiating. Interment followed in Circle Hill Cem.; Miss Crain, eldest daughter of Chester M & Lovilla Klink Crain was born June 13, 1884 in Pleasant Twp., Steuben Co. She graduated from Angola High School, then took teachers' training at Tri-State College, Wooster College, Ohio, and Berkley College, Ca. Miss Crain was a teacher in the elementary schools of Steuben Co. for 40 years. She was a member of the Congregational Church, Angola, taught a Primary S.S. Class for many years. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Assoc., Order of Eastern Star for over 50 yrs, Sorosis, Sargarlia Retired Teachers, Garden Club and an honorary member of the Alpha Farmers Club. After her retirement Miss Crain dedicated her time and Christian love to the care of her mother and home. In later years she shared her home with a sister, Fay. Due to failing health both she and her sister went to the Carlin Park Nursing Home, where she resided until her death. Surviving are 2 sisters, Fay C. Mitchell, of Carlin Park Nursing Home, and Miss Wava Crain of Elkhart.
