WEISER — Services for Maxine Witherspoon, 35, of New Meadows, who died at her home Sunday morning after a long illness, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Northam-Jones chapel in Weiser. Interment will be at Canyon Hill in Caldwell at 3:30 p.m.
Mrs. Witherspoon was born Jan. 9, 1922, in Winfield, Kan., and was married May 21, 1956, at Winnemucca, Nev., to James Witherspoon.
Surviving in addition to Mr. Witherspoon are two daughters, Janet and Sandra Witherspoon, both of New Meadows; a sister, Mrs. Earl Rumpel of Baker, Ore.; two brothers, Ray Cook of Bellingham, Wash., and Eugene Cook of Baker; two half-brothers, George T. Cook of Boise, and Floyd Cook of Phoenix, Ariz., her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Warren T. Cook of McCall.
