The Star Press, Muncie, Indiana, USA - Wednesday, Page 20 - Charles H. Barber, 69 - DALEVILLE - Charles Homer Barber, 69, 9617 S. Greenway Drive, died Monday in Miller's Merry Manor, Middletown. Mr. Barber, who was born in Muncie, lived his life in Daleville and was a 1945 graduate of Daleville High School. He worked for Indiana Bell for 31 years and was a member of the Daleville United Methodist Church. He was a former member of Quantis Club and Telephone Pioneers Club of Muncie. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and watching basketball. Survivors include his wife for 45 years, Joyce Hartzell, a son, David Ross Barber, Indianapolis; a sister JoAnn Bunch (husband: Joseph), Cleveland, Ohio; a grandson, Tyler Todd, Noblesville; a sister-in-law, Verna Barber, Daleville and several nieces and nephews. A sister, Margaret Holdcraft, and a brother, Donald E. Barber, are deceased. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Ron Maybry officiating. Burial will be in Saunders Cemetery, east of Daleville. Calling will be 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be sent to the American Diabetes Association, 2801 S.
