She and Angus were married at Gold Hill, NV in 1877; after their marriage the removed to Aurora, NV where they remained until 1883 when the family settled in Yerington where Angus was engaged in ranching.
She had also lived in Genoa.
Six children survived her; Henry S. McLeod of Reno, Charles A. and William McLeod of Yerington, Mrs. A. Rosaschi of Yerington, Dan R. McLeod of Sacramento and Mason E. McLeod of Ukiah; sister Mrs. B. F. Baker of Mina and brother Smith Ellis of Arbuckle.
