Services for Mrs. O.H. Harrison were held in the Cache Creek schoolhouse and were attended by 700 or 800 people. People came from the local community, Seymour, and representatives from every community in Baylor County. Brother E.H. Garner of Littlefield was called for the funeral of her father and while he was still here, he preached the funeral of Mr. Franklin's daughter. Brother Garner told the audience that he was standing before the largest crowd to which he had ever preached a funeral sermon. The body was laid to rest beside the graves of her parents and her little son to wait for the resurrection morn. She moved to Baylor County in 1890 with her parents. She spent most of her girlhood in the Cache Creek community. She married in the Cache Creek community on 24 January 1909 to O.H. Harrison where they lived until the fall of 1925 when they moved to Seymour. Two children were born to this union and one died as an infant. Survivors include her husband; one son; four brothers; one sister. At an early age, Mrs. Harrison gave her heart to God and gave her life to Him also. She united with the Church of Christ and no member was more faithful than she. Her Christian life knew no denomination bounds, and she did good to all with whom she came into contact.
