Private Albert F Magrum was born November 20, 1919, at Williamsville N.Y. and was educated there. He had lived with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Albert Magrum in the Youngstown Road, Town of Wilson. A member of the Olcott Fire company, he was employed as a machinist in the Kenmore, N.Y. plant of the Curtiss Wright Corporation when he entered the service, July 25, 1944. He received his training at Camp Croft, SC and Camp Meade, Maryland. He went overseas the first week of January.

He was survived by his wife Esther (Oswald) and parents (Albert and Cecilia) and 10 month old son Ronald Franklyn Magrum, two sisters Virginia and Marwald and one brother William of Williamsville, NY.
