Funeral services for George Green Callahan, age 75, a retired Wytheville barber, who died Monday night, were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. Rev. W. S. Steele and the Rev. William S. Murphy officiated. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Sammy Cassell, Larry Hudson, W. C. "Doc" Kitts, Jerry Callahan, Mike Cassell, J. W. Callahan, Ronnie Houseman, Ronnie Umberger.
A list of the survivors appeared in the Tuesday edition of the Enterprise.
