Curtis Gene Henry O'Kelley, 64, of Rudy died Friday, April 20, 2012, in his home.

He was a retired comm-unication technical engineer, a native of Rudy, a 1962 Alma High School graduate and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He was a member of 81 Free Will Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith with military honors under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara O'Kelley of Rudy; six daughters, Kim Dooley of Barling, Brandee Brown of Cabot, Amanda Gray and husband Matt of Fort Sam Houston, Texas, Denise Brasher and husband Rowdy of Rudy and Ariel O'Kelley and Emily Fields, both of the home; three sons, Tony Brewer and wife Shondell of Vila Rica, Ga., Dennis Fields of Monroe, Ga., and Nicholas O'Kelley and wife Ashley of Van Buren; two sisters, Ellen Armer of Fort Smith and Mary Montoya of Albuquerque, N.M.; two brothers, John and Quincey O'Kelley, both of Rudy; two sisters-in-law, Patsy and Kathleen O'Kelley; two brothers-in-law, Don and Bill Justice; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

The family will visit with relatives and friends Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson St., Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be his nephews, Wilson O'Kelley, Dana O'Kelley, Tim O'Kelley, John J. (Lucky) O'Kelley, Gary O'Kelley, Randy O'Kelley, Bing O'Kelley and Curtis Hall.

Honorary pallbearers will be the McDonald's Breakfast Group, Richard Piechocki and Randy Beard.
