WELL KNOWN MAN DIES
HENRY GEPHART, who lived three miles northeast of Rockford, died last Thursday, aged 58 years. The funeral was held Saturday forenoon from the residence, conducted by Rev. C. t. Betts. The interment was made in Riverside Cemetery at Rockford. Mr. Gebhart was a very generally known in Willshire and vicinity, Mrs. Gephart being a daughter of the late Frederick Roop, a sister of Mrs. J. F. Shaffner and Charles Thatcher of this town and of Mrs. Elmer Moser of Decatur. Of his immediate family there survive the widow and two sons, Chauncey and Maynard Gephart. Mr. Gephart had been ill for more than a year of stomach trouble, and from the inception of his attack there was little or no hope for his recovery. He was a man of substance and left his family well provided for with this world's goods., 10-31-1907
