SIERRA -- Leonides (TENORIO, ONA), 92, passed on August 9, 2010 in her home.
Ona was born in Estancia, N.M. She raised her four children in Corrales, and in Albuquerque. She had been a widow and member of St. Therese of the Little Flower Church for 54 years, and belonged to the Legion of Mary. Ona was preceded in death by her parents, Roman Tenorio, and Josefita Sandoval; by her husband Jose H. Sierra, a disabled WWII veteran; by her sons, Joe and Bob Sierra; daughter-in-law Therese Sierra; and 16 siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Sr. Margaret Sierra; and a son, Arthur Sierra; she is also survived by her sister-in law, Josefita T. Rivera, and Mary Tenorio; her daughter-in-law Joy Sierra; her grandchildren, Marcus Sierra (Karen), Dina Hardaway (Matt), Jason Sierra (Renee), Jennifer Sanchez (Nathan), Tabatha Sandoval (David), and Artie Gomez; she is also survived by her step-grandchildren, Tasha and Kenneth Gomez, Sara Lucero; and four great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
Mass will be celebrated Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Therese Church.

Interment will be at Mt. Calvary.
