Mrs. Albert V. Amsden
Mrs. Harriet B. (Anderson) Amsden, 65, wife of Albert V Amsden, of 9 Fairfield Street, died yesterday. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Charles N. and Mary (Bancroft) Anderson.
Mrs. Amsden was a member of the First Church of Christ and the Worcester Grange, P. of H. She was a past department president of the Ladies of the G.A.R.
Besides her husband she leaves a daughter, Miss Phyllis E. Amsden of Worcester, and a brother, Rutherford Anderson of Plymouth.
Funeral services will be held at the Caswell-King Co. 835 Main Street, Tuesday afternoon at a time to be announced. Rev. William F. Saye of the First Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery.
Members of the Gen. Charles Devens Circle G.A.R. will meet tonight at 7:30 at the funeral home to conduct their ritual.
