Mrs. Belle P. Dutton, 71, died Sunday at Jones-McConnell clinic in Bunkie, La., after a brief illness. Mrs. Dutton had made her home with a sister, Mrs. Adelaide Loper of Bunkie for the past five years. Before moving to Bunkie, Mrs. Dutton lived with a daughter, Mrs. Loy Baker of Haynesville. Mrs. Dutton was a devout member of the Methodist church at Bunkie.

She is survived by a son, W.C. Dutton, Gladewater, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Loy Baker, Haynesville; Mrs. Ralph Goodwill of Minden, and one grandson, Ramon Goodwill; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Goff, Tioga, La.; Mrs. Adelaide Loper, Bunkie, La.; Mrs. Josephine Green, Winter Garden, Fla.; Mrs. P.V. Laird, Alexandria, La.; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Green-Kleinegger Funeral chapel by the Rev. G.W. Pomeroy, pastor of the First Methodist church, and burial will be in Salem cemetery at Athens, La.
