Mrs. Etta Lambert
Mrs. Etta Lambert died last evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Laura Surnear in Canajoharie, following an illness of six months of a complication of diseases.
She was born at Sprakers sixty-five years ago and was the widow of Daniel Lambert. Most of her life had been spent in Johnstown from which city she went to Canajoharie three months ago.
Mrs. Lambert is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Surnear of this village and Mrs. Edward Edick of Johnstown; one son, Willard of Sharon Springs; a sister, Mrs. Frances Van Alstine of Sprakers; a brother, Lawrence McGraw of Sprakers and several grandchildren.
She was a member of the Reformed church at Sprakers. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Surnear home, Rev. W.M. Baum, Jr., pastor of St. Mark's Lutheran church, officiating. Interment will be at Fern Dale.
