Charlie Barber, who lived near Kilgore's schoolhouse, died on last Saturday night of pneumonia, following flu. Funeral services were conducted at Ralston Sunday by Revs. Felts and Jackson, after which his body was interred at East Side cemetery, Martin. Charlie was a good boy. To form his acquaintance was to like him. It is said by his neighbors that he had not an enemy in the world.
