James David Caton, age 76, of No. 4 Village Court, passed away at a local infirmary Monday p.m. Survived by 1 son, F. N. Caton of Montgomery; 4 daughters, Mrs. J. A. Riley, Miss Betty Caton, Mrs. Delene Reynolds, of Birmingham, and Mrs. L. F. Murrell, of Trussville; 1 brother, Sam Caton, of Marvel, Ala.; 1 sister, Mrs. Florence Traywick, of Billingsley, Ala. Funeral services Thursday at 2 p.m. from the New Salem Baptist Church in Chilton County, the pastor of the New Salem Baptist Church officiating; interment in Salem Cemetery, Ridout Brown-Service directing.
