Mrs. Earl was born August 18, 1916 in Cleveland County, a daughter of the late Andy Plato Meade and Rosa Peeler Meade.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Franklin Earl; an infant son; five brothers, Glen and Plato Meade, The Rev. Andy Meade Jr, and two infasnt brothers; two sisters, Ethel Cook and Bryte Blanton.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul Baptist Church. Mrs. Earl loved her farm life, especially cows and throughly enjoyed gardening and cooking.
Surviving are sons and daughter-in law, Larry and Joyce Earl of Cherryville, Jerry and Sondra Earl of Casar, and Gary and Peggy Earl of Lawndale; a daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Coma "Rock" Hudson of Lawndale. Special friends, Anther Sailors and Connie Cogdell; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Burial in St. Paul Baptist Church Cemetery.
