Mrs Ruth I. Dennis, 88, of New Market died Monday afternoon, April 16, 1989 at the Lenox Care Center.
She was born Nov 26, 1900, near New Market, the daughter of Fred and Sara Gant Miller.
On Nov 22, 1922 she was married to John A. Dennis, who preceded her in death in 1930.
Mrs Dennis had been a paper hanger before her retirement.
She is survived by three children, Sarah Depew of New Market and Marvin Dennis and Paul Dennis of Des Moines. There are six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren.
Mrs Dennis was preceded in death by parents, husband, four sisters and six brothers.
Funeral services were held this Thursday afternoon at the Church of Christ at new Market with Loren Daly officiating.
Burial was in Memory Cemetery at New Market.
