Mrs. Heather Beard Blalock, age 35, of Buford, GA passed away on Friday, June 4, 2004 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta after a courageous battle with Hodgkins Lymphoma. She is survived by her: Husband of 6 years: Mr. David Blalock, Buford, GA; Parents: Mr. and Mrs. Phillip (Sylvia Smith) Beard, Buford, GA; Father-in-law and Mother-in-law: Mr. and Mrs. James Emory (Alma Bernice “Polly”) Blalock; Several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Mrs. Blalock was preceded in death by her Grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. William Harvey “Billy” Beard, Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. William Henry (Sara Brogdon) Smith, Jr. Mrs. Blalock was a native of Buford, Gwinnett County, Georgia. She was a 1986 graduate of Buford High School where she was a Star Student and Valedictorian of her class.
