Note, James Breckinridge was said to be the first born in Botetourt County, where the family had moved by then.
During the American Revolution, Letitia Breckinridge provided supplies for the Patriots and thus earned the designation DAR Ancestor Number A202892. Two of her sons, James and John, (DAR Ancestor Numbers A013940 and A013942) were soldiers in the American Revolution, as were her two stepsons,
1. Alexander Breckenridge
2. General Robert Breckenridge who would serve as Speaker of the Kentucky State House of Representatives, 1792.
