OBITUARY (From Johnson City Press, Johnson City, TN - June 22, 2006)

Robert "Moody" Orren, 89, of Johnson City, died Tuesday, June 20, 2006, at the James H. Quillen VAMC due to a lengthy illness.

"Moody" was a native of Johnson City and a son of the late Robert and Pearl Campbell Orren. He served our country in the US Army. His tour of duty was in occupied Japan during World War II. Mr Orren has lived in Johnson City his entire life and spent many years as a Heavy Equipment Operator.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 son, 1 daughter, 1 granddaughter, 4 brothers and 1 sister.

Mr. Orren is survived by 3 daughters, Claris Stalnaker & Anne Parsons, of Johnson City, and Denise Campbell, of Conyers, GA; 1 sister, Gladys Honeycutt, of Limestone Cove; and 1 brother, George Orren, of Johnson City; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The friends and family are invited to pay their respects and visit at the home of Robert "Moody" Orren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions In Loving Memory of Robert "Moody" Orren to the Washington County Animal Shelter, 525 Sells Ave., Johnson City, TN 37604.
