She was born December 29, 1947 in Indianapolis, a daughter of the late William F. and Doris J. (White) Robinson.
Sandra was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Indianapolis. For several years she worked at Major Hospital in Shelbyville. She was a pastor's wife and enjoyed leading children's church. She enjoyed crafts but her life revolved around her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Rev. Gary E. Huffman; three sons, Glen (wife: Patricia) Huffman, Thomas (wife: Darline) Huffman and Timothy (wife: Brandy) Huffman all of Fairland; 10 grandchildren, Kyle, Kevin, Curtis, Cody, Sierra, Derick, Erika, John, Brianna and Britney Huffman; three sisters, Karen (husband: Chris) Maas of Maine, Kitty (husband: Larry) Arnold and Nancy (husband: Larry) Rigsby both of Indianapolis; an aunt, Mary J. Short of Mooresville and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Michael W. and John D. Huffman.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at First Church of Nazarene, 9401 E. 24th St., Indianapolis with Rev. Michael P. Morris officiating.
Burial will follow in Fairland Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 – 8 p.m. Monday at the church.
