Professional Hockey Player. A native of Ottawa, Ontario, Stuart played for the CAHL, OHA-I, WPHL, X-Games, W-S, IHL, ECAHA, ECHA, NHA, CHA, and the IPAHU hockey leagues. Stuart played for the Ottawa Silver Seven from 1898 to 1900, 1901 to 1902, Ottawa Aberdeens from 1899 to 1900, Quebec Bulldogs from 1900 to 1901, Pittsburgh Victorias from 1902 to 1903, Portage Lakes from 1903 to 1907, Montreal Wanderers from 1907 to 1908, Ottawa Senators from 1908 to 1911, and the Ottawa Stewartons from 1911 to 1912. He was also a hockey coach and the brother of hockey player William Hodgson 'Hod' Stuart. Stuart was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame as a Player in 1961 and the Ottawa Hall of Fame in 1966. Stuart died in October 1961 at the age of 80.
