Professional Hockey Player. A native of Ottawa, Ontario, Boucher played the position of Defense for teams in the NHL, CAHL, QSHL, NHA, OCHL, MCHL, St. Cup, Exhib, Can-Am, and the NHLMGNT hockey leagues. At 5'09", and 169lbs, Boucher played for the Ottawa Royal Edinburghs from 1913 to 1915, Ottawa Royal Canadiens from 1914 to 1916, Montreal La Casquette from 1915 to 1916, Ottawa Senators 1915 to 1929, 1933 to 1934, Montreal Maroons from 1928 to 1932, Chicago Blackhawks from 1931 to 1932, and the Boston Cubs from 1932 to 1933. Also a coach he was Head Coach of the Montreal Maroons from 1930 to 1931, Ottawa Senators from 1933 to 1934, 1946 to 1947, St. Louis Eagles from 1934 to 1935, and the Boston Bruins from 1949 to 1950. Boucher passed away in October 1960 at the age of 64. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1960 as a Player and in the Ottawa Hall of Fame in 1966.
