"He was in the employ of the Northern Pacific for about 40 years, there being several breaks in the continuity of his employment, when he engaged in farming and other work. He served for a number of years as cashier at Kennewick and Toppenish and for seven or eight years was in the N. P. division accounting office at Pasco and five or six years ago, he accepted the position of revising clerk in the Spokane freight office and at that time moved from Kennewick to Spokane."
