Fairview - Lou Ellen Crawford, 80, of Fairview, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 17, 2009.

Mrs. Crawford was the daughter of the late Troy and Clara Lou Oxner Turpin. She was also predeceased by her brothers, J.C. and Billy, and by her sister, Edith.

She was a member of the Cane Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Crawford loved to work with crafts and loved to cook from her own recipe book. Everyone enjoyed her meals that were prepared from her book.

She is survived by her husband, Earl Crawford; daughter, Gail Rhoades and her husband, Wayne; sons, Roger Crawford and his wife, Ramona, and Randy Crawford and his wife, Gail; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be 2 p.m., Saturday at the Cane Creek Baptist Church, with the Revs. Dan Holbert and Jack Presnell officiating. Burial will follow at the Cane Creek Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m., Friday at the Cane Creek Baptist Church in Fairview.
