Alfred A. Carle, 84, of 322 W. Piper St., Macomb, formerly of Plymouth, died at 11:05 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, 1995 at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.

Alfred was born Nov. 19, 1910 in Hancock Co., near Carthage to Jerry and Bessie (Estes) Carle. He married Dora Carle on Nov. 14, 1938 in Kahoka, Mo. She survives.

He is also survived by two daughters, Nedra Depoy of Pekin and Mrs. Everett (Mary) Chapin of Colchester; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters.

Alfred was a farmer.

Services are 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Plymouth with the Rev. Dwight Lackey officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery near Plymouth.

Friends called at the funeral home Saturday afternoon and evening, the family met with friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

Memorials were made to the charity of the donors' choice.
