He served in the Navy in World War II and was an employee of the Beaver Falls Municipal Authority, Beaver Falls, Pa. for many years.
Mr. Long is survived by his wife, Evelyn Strutt Long, three daughters, Mrs.Patricia (Lee) Dolby of California, Mrs. Candace (Bob) Abreu of Florida and Cynthia Nave of Tennessee, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and a sister Rosetta (Betty) Hunley survives. One grandson and one great-grandson passed away in 1981.
Services were held at Michaels-Lundquist Funeral Home, New Port Richey Fl. on Wednesday, May 28,1986 followed by burial at Bay Pines National Cemetery, Bay Pines, Florida.
