Meagan Leigh Anderson, 14, died Monday, April 16, 2012.

Born in Athens, she was the daughter of Donald and Angela Kidd Anderson. Meagan was a freshman at Oglethorpe County High School where she played trumpet in the Oglethorpe County Marching Band. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church. She loved spending time outdoors hunting with her dad and taking advantage of the time to shop with her mom and sister. She was devoted to her animals and loved taking care of her chickens.

In addition to her parents, Meagan is survived by her sister Kayla Anderson, grandparents, Olin Warren and Maria Anderson and Judy and William Kidd.

A graveside service will be held Friday, April 20, 2012 at 4PM at Athens Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 at the funeral home Friday, April 20, 2012.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Meagan's honor to support Camp Grace Farm through Northside Baptist Church.
