ANGELA VIRGINIA MALPHURS ALLMAN

Angela Virginia Malphurs Allman, 70. The Lord has called home a precious angel on April 18th. She was preceded in death by her husband Jesse P. Allman.

She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. She is survived by three sons, Thomas (Christine), Tony (Natalie), Raymond (Dianne); and two daughters, Laurie Allman, and Julia Wiggins (Robert). She has eight grandchildren; Bryon, Sarah, Nikki, Britney, Kasey, Taylor, Stacey, Tyler; and four great grandchildren, Brendan, Justin, Dylan, and Elizabeth. She also leaves behind to cherish her memory one sister, Mary MacFadden (John); two brothers Leslie Malphurs, John Malphurs (Peanut); brother-in-law Jr. Allman (Bobbie); and sister-in-law Louise Platt (Stanley); along with several nephews, nieces, and friends. Angela loved reading, fishing, and most of all her family, especially the children.

She loved any gathering that kept her close to those she loved. She was always willing to help anyone in need and never asked for anything in return. She was a very strong minded person who said how she felt, but did so with a gentle hand.

Services will be handled by Dale Woodward Funeral Homes, 167 Ridgewood Ave., Holly Hill. The viewing will be held on Saturday, April 21st from 10:00am until 12:00pm, followed by the chapel service and committal service at the graveside. She will be laid to rest beside her loving husband at Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery, in Ormond Beach. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Halifax Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129, where she was taken care of with loving and gentle hands. Condolences may be shared for the family at www.dalewoodwardfuneralhomes.com.
