PUBLIC SALE of a TUCKAHOE NECK FARM,
Intending to remove from the county, I will sell at public sale on MONDAY, DECEMBER 3d, (at the time and place of the sale of my personal property) my farm in Tuckahoe Neck where I now reside. The tract contains
143 1/2 ACRES OF LAND, more of less; finely located within one mile and a half of Denton Bridge, and eligibly situated for a home. The land is of good natural quality and may easily be brought to that high and profitable state of cultivation that marks that rich agricultural section.
The property is improved by a TWO-STORY DWELLING and sample outbuildings. Good and sufficient title given. Terms easy and made known on day of sale.
B. F. TOWNSEND.

Death of Benjamin F. Townsend
After a brief illness of grip and pneumonia Mr. Benjamin F. Townsend died at his late residence, near Bridgetown, on Tuesday evening last, aged about forty-four years. He has, except at intervals of a few years, when he carried on the butchering business in Cambridge and elsewhere, resided in Caroline county. He was formerly of ripe physique, enjoying the best of health. For some months, how ever, he had not been robust. The announcement of his untimely death was a great surprise. Mr. Townsend leaves a widow, who is a daughter of Mr. John W. Clark, Tuckahoe Neck, and six children, one of whom, Mr. Walter Townsend, is grown. Interment took place at Denton cemetery on Wednesday afternoon, where many bereaved relatives and friends gathered to pay their last respects to the departed. Rev R. L. Lewis officiated.
