Clarks Hill - Lewis Leslie Fidler, 73, retired carpenter and butcher, died at 12:30 a.m. Thursday in Home Hospital, Lafayette. He had been a patient in the hospital 12 hours. Born west of Stockwell, he was married in 1916 to Clora F. Lewis. She died in 1963. Surviving are a son, Francis of Clarks Hill; three sisters, Mrs. Marie Rayburn of Route 5, Lafayette, Mrs. Belle Smart of Lafayette and Mrs. Clora Thompson of Saskatchewan Province, Canada, and four brothers, Ross and Ralph, both of Clarks Hill, and Lawrence and Lloyd, both of St. James Mo.
