Andrew Fidler, a pioneer settler of Lauramie Township, died at his home near Concord, at 5 o’clock Thursday evening. He had been in poor hearth for the past few years and death was due to hardening of the arteries and complications. Mr Fidler was 83 years old and had resided near Concord the greater part of his live. He was a farmer and a veteran of the Civil War. Several children survive. Funeral services will be conducted from the Concord church at 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon. Interment in the concord Cemetery. (Lafayette, Indiana Journal and Courier, Saturday Jul 5, 1924, page 13)
