Andrew Loux, Deceased.

Last Sabbath evening Andrew Loux, father of Enoch J. Loux, of this place, died at his home, in McCreight's addition to the borough, aged 81 years, 4 months and 11 days.

Mr. Loux resided in Clarion county, near Strattanville, for many years. Becoming too old to manage his farm, he and his wife removed to this place last fall to be near their son, who built a house for them on the lot adjoining his own. The deceased was a most worthy citizen and was always esteemed by all who knew him as an honorable and upright man. He was a member of the Strattanville Lodge of Odd Fellows, who attended the funeral this morning (Feb. 15) in a body, paying the last rites of the order to their deceased brother. His remains were buried in the Brookville cemetery.
