James Z. Reeves, at Baptist Hospital, on Tuesday, July 7, 1981; beloved husband by first marriage of the late Carrie Fae Bailey, and by second marriage of the late Willie Holt Landrum, father of Frances Loraine Shelton; brother of Gertrude Anders, Beatrice Sparks, Maude Reeves, and Clyde K. Reeves, and the late Harry R. and Howard S. Reeves; also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends of the family, also officers and members of George Washington Lodge No. 65, F&AM, are invited to attend the funeral from the Valence Street Baptist Church, 4636 Magazine Street, on Thursday, July 9, 1981 at 19:30 a.m.

Interment in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation on Wednesday evening July 8, 1981 after 5:30 p.m., and Thursday July 9, 1981 until 10 o'clock a.m. Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp in charge of arrangements.
