Esther Rose Ruskaup of Owensville, Mo. departed this life on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at Gasconade Manor Nursing Home in Owensville. She had reached the age of 90 years, 11 months and 24 days. Esther was born in Avoca, Nebraska on April 24, 1921 to the late Fred and Iva (Branson) Czeschin. She was first married to Milford Moeckli, then to Norman Crider and later to Edwin Ruskaup. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Owensville and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Her many hobbies included quilting, embroidery, cooking, bible study and bingo. She was preceded in death by her husbands; son, Donald Moeckli; and sister, Mildred Helm. Her survivors include her children, Carolyn Bradshaw of Bell and Denny Crider and wife Joni of Mt. Vernon, Washington; daughter-in-law, Sandy Moeckli of Owensville; sister, Agnes Clark of Owensville; brother, Willis Czeschin and wife Rosie of Bland; and by six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; and five great, great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 24 at 11:00 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church in Owensville with Rev. Kevin Koester officiating. Burial will be in the Owensville City Cemetery.
