Dennis Green Navy
Dennis Blaine Green, 20, Seaman Apprentice, U.S. Navy, was killed In Quang Tri Province, South Vietnam, from hostile explosive device Jan. 19, 1969, after only 34 days in the country. He was born Jan. 13, 1949 at Garden City, KS, son of Guy William (died 2002) and Doris J Green (died 2002). He moved to Hutchinson with his family in 1955. He attended Hutchinson public schools. He enlisted in the Navy in May of 1968. He was a member of the First Nazarene Church. He is survived by parents: Guy W (died 2002) and Doris J Green (died 2002), 701 East A; two sisters, Mrs. Janet Regehr, 300 West 24th; and Cheryl of the home; brothers Donald, 1004 East 12th, David of the home; grandmother, Mrs. Grace Kinikin, Iola.
