THE PARIS NEWS, Thursday, January 23, 1997..

Ruth Cato, 65, 5920 Lamar Road, died Wednesday, January 22, 1997, at McCuistion Regional Medical Center.

Services will be at 4:30 p.m. Friday, January 24, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Hollowell and Dr. Wilbur Simmons officiating. Burial will be in Union Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5-6:00 p.m. today at the funeral home.

She was born September 26, 1931, in Blossom to Daniel Russell Stansell and Bettie Stone Stansell. She married Roger Cato on May 10, 1952, in Texarkana, ARK. She graduated from Blossom High School and was associated with her husband in Cato Camper Sales for 25 years. She had been a member of the Blossom Nazarene Church and at her death was a member of First Baptist Church of Blossom.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph J. Stansell and John William Stansell; and by two sisters, Gladys Stansell Foote and Lucille Stansell Fletcher.

Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Sandra Ruth 'Sandy' Wilkerson of Powderly; four grandchildren, Roger Aaron Wilkerson, Paul Ryan Wilkerson, Whitney Brooke Wilkerson and Payton Renee Wilkerson; one sister, Billie Stansell Slagle of Paris; several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Classmates named as pallbearers are Jerry Allen, Orville Allen, Bill Pitts, Billy B. Smith, Harold Blackburn and Larry Bonner.

Camper friends who are Honorary bearers are John Johnson, Carl Hatcher, Claude Lollar, Teddy Staffs, Paul Bryan, Danny Martin, Jeff Martin, Joe Darnell, Floyd Lee, and Bob Rice.
