Shirley M. Quasius, 76, of Sheboygan, passed away surrounded by her eight sisters and brothers-in-law Sunday morning, April 15, 2012 at Sharon S. Richardson Comm. Hospice. Shirley was born February 21, 1936 in Chilton to the late Anthony and Irene (Meier) Hoerth.

In 1956, Shirley M. Hoerth and Joseph Winkel were united in marriage. She later married Dennis Quasius on September 8, 1988.

She graduated from Kiel High School, class of 1954. After graduation she worked at KT in Chilton, then Kohler Co., where she was secretary of the year in 1968. She owned Winkel's Café in Sheboygan Falls for six years. Shirley also worked at Rockline for ten years until her retirement.

She loved going to Wisconsin Badger and Green Bay Packer games with her eight sisters. She had a great love for flowers and loved having her annual garage sale. Shirley also loved her annual fishing trips to Lake Winnie, her card playing, and going to the casino.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Dennis Quasius of Sheboygan; eight sisters, Arlene Gates of Chilton, Virginia (Ken) Leitner of Waupun, Romaine (Gordon) Bruggink of Oostburg, Diana (Robert) Multer of Kiel, Antoinette (Gerald) Meyer of Chilton, Lois (Donald) Herzog of Sheboygan Falls, Kristene (William) Brieger of Sheboygan, and Michele (David) Oostdyk of Plymouth; two sons, Bryan (Kathy Abrashinsky) Quasius and Chris (Misti Moilanen) Quasius of Sheboygan; four grandchildren, Kylee Noel, and Jaylee, Jordan and Joe Quasius, all of Sheboygan; brother-in-law, Ray (Peggy) Quasius of Fort Meyers, FL; two sisters-in-law, Diane (Charles) Belleville of Greenwood, MI, and Heidi (Dennis) Thompson of Harrison, TN; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by son, Jeff Quasius; two brothers-in-law, John Gates and Tom Stecker; and niece, Lynn Leitner.
