William G. Bradshaw, 70 of 1172 W. Packard St., died at 9 p.m. Saturday in St. Mary's Hospital after a month's illness.

Mr. Bradshaw was born Nov 23 1896, in Decatur, a son of Sam and Mary Bradshaw. He was a lifelong resident of Decatur

He was employed by Hupp Cigar Co. before his retirement and was a member of Central Christian Church.

He married Faye Platt Aug. 20, 1923, in Springfield. She died April 23, 1954.

Mr. Bradshaw leaves one son, Gary D. of Auburn; one daughter, Barbara K. Peel of Decatur; four brothers, Paul, Herman and Raymond Bradshaw, all of Decatur, and Cletus Bradshaw of Walla Walla, Wash.; two sisters, Ada Jones of Decatur and Ruby Holbrook of Nachez, Wash.; and three grandchildren. Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the J. J. Moran & Sons Funeral Home, where friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
