Lyons,
Mrs. Sherri L. Bailey, age 50 of Lyons, died Sunday, April 15, 2012. She was a native of Laurens County and moved to Toombs County in 1964. She was a homemaker and early in her life was a machinist. She was Baptist by faith, and was preceded in death by her father, Thomas A. Bailey, Jr.; brother, Tony Bailey; and step-father, Joe Humphrey.

Mrs. Bailey is survived by her mother, Mary Bailey Humphrey of Lyons; one sister, Gail Mason and husband Donnie of Vidalia; fiancé, Wiley E. Chance of Lyons; step-brother, Carl Humphrey and wife Donna of Colorado Springs, Colorado; step-sister, Noreen Plantz and husband Eddie of Long Island, New York and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, April 19th at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Jackson and Reverend Josh Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00 pm in the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in East Dublin. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
