Frances Mattson was born Feb. 21 1905 at Roosevelt, Wash. and died Feb. 13, 1975. The widow of Richard Mattson, she lived most of her life in the Centerville area.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Archie (Marilynn) Robertson, Battle Ground; a son, Virgil E. Miller, Vancouver; two sisters, Mrs. Flora Kelly, Goldendale, and Mrs. Leona Pearson, Vancouver; and one brother, Gordon Knapp, Walla Walla. In addition, five grandchildren, Dan Miller, Gaston, Ore.; Mrs. Rita Collins, Battle Ground; and Richard, Jim and Mark Robertson, Battle Ground. Also one great-grand daughter, Hillary Collins, Battle Ground.
Funeral services were held at the Kingdom Hal, Goldendale, Feb. 17, with Glenn Brown officiating. Pallbearers were; Ernie Combs, Don Slawson, Leonard Lanegan, Fred Krusow, Ed Terry and Irvin Campbell. interment was in the Centerville Cemetery.
