Born in Tazewell County, she was the daughter of Jill Whitt Hilton, Hurley, VA, and the late Timmy Lester, and step-daughter of Bobby Hilton, Jr., Hurley, VA. She was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and was a loving daughter.
Courtney was preceded in death by her father, Timmy Lester and her Paternal Grandfather: Emzie Lester, Jr.
