Services for Edgar Elmer Brownlee were held in the First Baptist Church in Grandview. The Brownlee family formerly lived in the Red Springs Community in Baylor County and raised their family there. The family moved to The Rio Grande Valley in the early 1930s. Survived by three sons - Elwood, Ernest, and Bill; three daughters - Lorene Crowell, Jo Moore, and Ruth Morris; 18 grandchildren; numerous great and great-great-grandchildren; one brother - M.L. Brownlee.
