"SUDDEN DEATH

Of One of Summit's Oldest Citizens

He Was a Farmer and Surveyor and an Upright Citizen

Jacob Mishler, one of the oldest and most respected citizens of Springfield township, and a man well known throughout Summit county, died at his residence in Springfield, Saturday morning.

Mr. Mishler's death was due to heart trouble. He had been in spledid health all the fall and retired Friday night as well as usual. At 4 o'clock Saturday morning it was discovered that he was suffering and he died in a few moments.

The deceased was 76 years of age, and had resided in Springfield township 60 years. Besides being a first-class farmer, he was a careful and able surveyor. He served one term as surveyor of Summit county.

Besides a wife he leaves three sons and one daughter. Mr. F.J. Mishler, secretary of the American Castings company, of this city, is a son of the deceased. The funeral will be held at 10 o'clock Monday morning at the Dunkard chuch in Springfield."
