John O Moskeland, 80, of Marysville died Jan 11 at his home in Marysville.
He was born August 5, 1899 in Marysville, where he had been a longtime resident. He lived at Coupeville for a number of years, moving back to Marysville in 1976. Mr. Moskeland graduated from Marysville High School in 1918, had worked as a logger for many years, Served on the Marysville School Board for 12 years, was a longtime member of Crystal Lodge No. 122 F&AM and was a past worthy patron of Afton Chapter No. 103 Order of Eastern Star. He was also a Past Master of Kellogh-Marsh Grange.
He leaves his wife, Mary; three daughters, Mary Janet Gore of Seattle, Margaret Bland of Federal Way and JoAnn Mulligan of Marysville; son, John of Crossett, Ark; 10 grandchildren; and two brothers, Edward of Auburn, and Stanley of Marysville.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home with the Rev. David Herwick officiating. Private family burial services will follow at Marysville Cemetery.
Friends may pay their respects on Monday, Tuesday and until 1 p.m. on Wednesday.
Flowers are welcome, or memorials may be given to Sno-Isle Community Blood Bank, 2703 Oakes, Everett.
