Lania Stovall Ball, 89, of Beckley died Nov. 26, 1997, at home after a long illness.
She was a homemaker and a former employee of Richmond Cleaners and Laundry, Beckley, with 14 years' service. She attended the First Baptist Church, Beckley.
Surviving: daughter, Ruth Jordan of Beckley; sisters Wilma Shanks and Portia Waddell, both of Beckley; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Rose & Quesenberry Funeral Home, Beckley, with Evangelist Fred Dinkler officiating. Entombment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
